Ladbrokes Australia has confirmed that it will integrate Racing Victoria broadcast services, as it looks to enhance its Australian racing inventory in the coming months.

The bookmaker has agreed a multi-year content agreement to allow Racing Victoria meetings to be live streamed to active account holders on Ladbrokes Australia betting platform and on subsidiary brands BetStar and Bookmaker.com.au.

Ladbrokes becomes the fourth Australian online bookmaker to integrate Racing Victoria digital streaming services, following Sportsbet.au, CrownBet and Tabcorp. The bookmaker will have access to a full broadcast of the Victoria thoroughbred racing schedule as the Australia racing season begins this September with the Spring Racing Carnival season (start date – 12 September)

The agreement with Ladbrokes follows last week’s announcement that Racing Victoria had ended its broadcast stand-off with Tabcorp regarding the distributions of racing rights. Following months of negotiations both parties agreed that Victoria race fixtures would be broadcast on the Sky Racing network.

Racing Victoria CEO Bernard Saundry welcomed Ladbrokes as a new partners

“This digital broadcast agreement with Ladbrokes supports our objective of achieving the broadest possible distribution of Victorian thoroughbred racing to support growth and engagement.

“Punters, fans and participants can now view Victorian thoroughbred racing daily on desktop and mobile via Ladbrokes, Sportsbet, CrownBet, Tabcorp and our own Racing.com.

“The digital broadcasts complement our free-to-air broadcasts on Channel 78 (metropolitan) and Channel 68 (regional) and our pay-TV broadcast on Sky Racing, thus ensuring that more people than ever before can view Victorian racing whenever, wherever and however they choose.”
