“Racing Post update the tribute wall each day with our favourites, along with pictures of some of the many special moments we have enjoyed with Tony McCoy throughout his incredible career”

McCoy one of horse racing’s most popular figures, rode his final Aintree Grand National last Saturday on favourite ShutTheFrontDoor. The jockey was unable to sign off his Grand National career with a victory as he placed fifth.

McCoy commented on his final Grand National

“I’m going to miss riding horses like that and in races like that. I got a great buzz out of it and I thought for a long way he could win. It’s my last National, but it was a very enjoyable one.”
