Betfred have announced that Group Finance Director Barry Nightingale will step down from his position after seven years’ service. Nightingale will be replaced by Group Financial Controller Nicole Barr.
Nightingale joined Betfred in 2008 were he led financial planning for the operator’s multiple business divisions. During his tenure as Group Finance Director, Nightingale led Betfred’s £265 million buyout of the UK TOTE betting services from the government.
Betfred announced that Nightingale replacement would be led by the in-house appointment of Nicola Barr.
Barr has been with the Manchester based bookmaker since 2006, handling financial planning and accounting for the operators call centre and online gambling division.
