Feda Mecan, who is the Co-Founder of KaFe Rocks, has announced that he is joining the advisory board of US sportsbook supplier Huddle.
Mecan’s journey in gambling can be traced back to 2010 when he worked as a lead under Ladbrokes’ DACH-facing business, with a focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Fast forward to 2017, Mecan founded his first affiliate. After selling the business, he went on to co-found KaFe Rocks, which was subsequently acquired by igaming firm GiG for €35m.
On the new appointment, Huddle noted that it is looking forward to Mecan’s experience being introduced to the company to support its business of supplying gaming operators with trading solutions.
Francesco Borgosano, Huddle CEO, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Feda as an adviser. His experience both as an operator and founder will be invaluable to Huddle and me personally.
“As the company navigates through an exciting phase of innovation and growth, Feda’s expertise will not only enrich our strategic vision but also enhance our ability to deliver exceptional value to our shareholders.”
Additionally, Mecan took to LinkedIn to comment on his new venture, stating: “Those who know me well, know that I am ranting about the state of the tech backbones in our industry.
“That is why I originally invested in this amazing team and this is why I am joining them as an adviser. I am really looking forward to this.”
