FantasyHub temporarily suspends operations

Daily fantasy sports operator, FantasyHub, has temporarily suspended operations as of February 19th. At the time of writing users are still unable to access their accounts. pause

Accessing the website the following message appears: “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are currently in discussions with a strategic 3rd party regarding the future of FantasyHub & its players.” Players had previously had issues withdrawing funds prior to this message appearing on Friday February 19th.

The DFS operator pledged to issue more updates via email, and later stated in an email to customers that “due to advice from counsel, we cannot divulge many details but we have been in discussions with a strategic third party regarding the company and are now finalising those discussion”.

The operator said it could not go into further detail “at this time”, but pledged to be in touch “very soon with full information.”

Based in Texas FantasyHub, which is a member of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association (FSTA), was founded in 2013 and has raised over $200,000 (£141,000) for charity through its fantasy sports contests.
