Betano forms first football club sponsorship in Bulgaria

Betano, Kaizen Gaming’s online gaming operator, has become the official partner of Bulgarian professional football club, Lokomotiv Sofia, for the next three years. 

From the first official match of 2022 against CSKA on Sunday, Betano’s logo will appear on the Railwaymen’s jersey, whilst securing the firm’s first club sponsorship in Bulgaria – officially marking Kaizen Gaming’s recent launch of operations in the country. 

Tsvetin Yordanov, Kaizen Gaming, Country Manager for Bulgaria, commented: “I am delighted to announce our partnership with Lokomotiv Sofia, a historic football club and an incredible team. 

“We are thrilled that the Betano logo will, from now on, be featured on the Railwaymen’s jerseys and we look forward to celebrating wins and undertaking joint social initiatives together. This sponsorship clearly highlights our strong commitment to the Bulgarian market and our support for Bulgarian sports and society.”

Kaizen’s launch in Bulgaria marks the latest development of its international expansion plans, with the company already active in seven different markets across Europe and South America through two brands: Betano and Stoiximan.

In recent months, the group appointed a new Marketing Director which saw Pablo Puertas form part of Kaizen’s new marketing leadership team, led by Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Panos Konstantopoulos. Puertas now aids the ‘strategic oversight’ and performance of Kaizen’s aforementioned Stoiximan and Betano brands.

“That is why Betano is more than a general sponsor – a stable partner with whom we will develop the mission “Lokomotive Sofia”. I am convinced that together we will achieve our goals and this is just the beginning of a sustainable and successful partnership.” 

The enterprise also holds further partnerships within professional football around the globe such as Sporting, Benfica, Porto, Atlético Mineiro, Olympiacos FC, FCSB and Club Universidad de Chile, to name a few.
