Better Collective acquires two new platforms

Betting media group Better Collective has acquired two new platforms, and, in separate transactions.

Poland-based sports betting brand was founded in 2017 and its acquisition expands Better Collective’s reach in the Polish market.

In addition, the firm has also purchased established racing publisher The site, which has covered Irish and British horseracing along with major international competitions for over 20 years, was initially founded by the Irish Times.

“We are pleased to finalise the acquisitions of and,” declared Jesper Søgaard, CEO of Better Collective. “The two platforms are strongly positioned within their individual niche and are established as go-to destinations for sports and racing fans in core markets.

“Due to their dedicated focus on great quality content, we saw a natural fit between the two brands and our Group and strategic ambitions and look forward to growing our global footprint with the two new platforms on board.”

It should be noted that the acquisitions are not expected to affect or boost Better Collective’s financial forecast.

The news comes on the back of the announcement that the company has also acquired UK Atemi Group, which specialises in lead generation for iGaming through paid media (PPC) and social media advertising.
