Sisal Matchpoint becomes official betting partner for AS Roma

Francesco TottiAS Roma has signed a sponsorship agreement with Sisal Matchpoint ahead of the 2016/17 season. The company will become the official betting partner of the Rome-based club for a single season, with the option to renew the deal for further years.

Sisal will receive significant exposure around the club’s Stadio Olympico and create a number of digital activations for the club’s social media sites. They will be hoping that the team can maintain a level of performance on the field that has seen them record three consecutive top three finishes in Serie A.

Massimo Temperelli, Director of Betting at Sisal, said: “It is with great enthusiasm that we renew our partnership with the club to consolidate a relationship that gave us much satisfaction last year. Among the many successful initiatives implemented last year, we had the “The Unexpected Bet” operation which exceeded our expectations. Our close collaboration with the management of AS Roma has led us to renew our agreement.”

AS Roma are one of the most successful clubs in Italy, having won the top-tier league three times, most recently in 2001. The club are synonymous with player loyalty, with both Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi turning down considerable offers to spend their entire careers with the Giallorossi.
