Sussex poker player Curtis Lambert has become the first ever winner of a ‘Unibet UK Tour’ event, taking home a £11,000 first prize win at the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton.
Held in association with Caesars Entertainment UK, the ‘Unibet UK Tour’ is designed to promote competitive amateur poker with low level buy-in tournaments to be hosted throughout the country.
Future ‘Unibet UK Tour’ events are scheduled for Nottingham, Manchester, Glasgow.
As its first winner Curtis Lambert will now join a star-studded field in the Unibet Open London event, taking place at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino from the 3-6th March. This tournament carries a £750+£75 buy-in and is the first of four stops on the Unibet Open this year
Unibet Poker’s Marketing Manager, David Pomroy, commented on the event:
