ThePogg put up for sale by Brand Streamers

Heritage online gambling community ThePogg has been put up for sale by Brand Streamers Group.

The news surprised the igaming affiliate community, as Brand Streamers had acquired ThePogg (ThePogg.com) back in April as an asset to boost its North American media portfolio.

However, yesterday Clas Dahlén of Brand Streamers announced that ThePogg was on the market, as its owner prioritises its streaming services and plans to restructure its business to focus on 20 media licences gained within North American markets.

Founded in 2011 by Duncan Garvie, ThePogg is recognised amongst the largest online gambling communities, providing its users with trusted reviews of over +2,000 websites.

Of significance, thePogg has operated an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service, accredited by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), which to date has returned over $7m to players who have used the service.

ThePogg’s sale has been backed by founder Garvie, who currently leads the development of BetBlocker – the multi-device and multi-compliance self-exclusion tool he founded in 2017.

Garvie stated: “ThePOGG.com has been a work of passion for me for over a decade. Integrity and trust have been at the core of everything I’ve worked to develop and I’m very proud of the achievements that we’ve made.”

“It’s now time to pass the torch on to someone who can take the brand to the next level.”

Brand Streamers provided no further information on ThePogg’s planned sale, in which interested parties should contact Clas Dahlen.
