Raketech nominates US executives to bolster boardroom vision

The board of Raketech Plc has confirmed that it will propose the nominations of Clare Boynton and Pierre Cadena to be elected as new board members at the firm’s annual General Meeting on 17 May.

The nominations have been submitted, as Raketech announces that current board members Annika Billberg and Fredrik Svederman have chosen not to stand for re-election.

Based in Los Angeles, Pierre Cadena is recognised as a gambling and sports media expert, having held senior strategy roles at  Crunchyroll, the world’s largest streaming video company for anime, and Caesars Interactive Entertainment.

Cadena currently serves as Chief Strategy Advisor at SCCG Management –  a management consultancy specialising in sports betting, iGaming, technology, M&A, joint ventures, and governmental and legal affairs for the casino and iGaming industry.

Clare Boynton is an experienced US business executive, who has led the development of mass-market brands for Unilever, KFC and Amazon.

Boynton has formerly supported a portfolio of early-stage businesses to plan and fund their growth whilst building high performing, fit for purpose finance teams and processes.

Further to its intended nominations, the board of Raketech will propose the re-election of Chairman Ulrik Bengtsson with the continued support of board members Johan Svensson, Erik Skarp and Magnus Gottås.
