NetShop ISP expands security footprint with private network across 3 continents

NetShop ISP, a leading provider of bare-metal servers, data centre solutions, and cloud hosting, has announced the availability of its Secure Private Network (SPN) in Europe, Asia and the United States.

The SPN allows customers to interact with their servers without the use of additional VPN or secure tunnels and enables igaming companies to transfer large amounts of data and multimedia across the globe securely and swiftly.

Stefano Sordini, CEO at NetShop ISP, noted: “Certain sectors within the gambling industry, such as online casinos and live dealer studios have had an enormous increase in bandwidth traffic needs since the global pandemic started in March 2020. The expansion of our global Secure Private Network can help igaming companies deliver content faster without an increase in bandwidth traffic bills.”

The backbone infrastructure of this transcontinental network is L3 fabric (also known as IP fabric) which, said the firm, has significant advantages over traditional L2-based solutions that most data centres use. L3 fabric offers true redundancy and high protection from Ddos attacks, especially unicast flooding.

As announced today, the SPN is available via NetShop ISP’s data centers in The Netherlands, Singapore and the United States, and can be used by Cloud, Co-located and bare-metal servers, as well as by customers with private racks. Each customer receives a dedicated network address which is fully isolated from other customers and the public Internet.

The company added that traffic within the Secure Private Network is entirely free.
