After building up an enviable presence in many of Europe’s more established betting markets, EveryMatrix, like many others in this industry, has its sights set on the emerging ones in 2027.
The company has spent much of 2026 entrenching its position. Deals are now in place with a range of iGaming operators – BetCenter in Belgium, Cashpoint (now Merkur Bets) in Denmark, betTOM and Fitzbet in the UK, as well as major multinational firm Betsson.
“I think in our 2030 strategy we have elements of organic growth, and of course new sales to tier one clients,” said Jonas Groes, who joined his brother and EveryMatrix co-founder Ebbe as a co-Chief Executive Officer of the company last year.
“We’ve had a really good year from a sales perspective, we’ve increased our sales quite significantly,” Groes told SBC News in an interview at EveryMatrix’s headquarters in Copenhagen.
“That benefits us 100% to both our tier one ambitions but also to reaching out targets we are aiming for, to be a top three provider.”
So, where is EveryMatrix’s mind going into 2027? Some new doors are being opened to the global iGaming industry, albeit at the same time quite a substantial and still-relatively-recent one was closed in Brazil.
Finland’s long-awaited iGaming market will go live next July. A new online casino market in New Zealand, but no sports betting, will go live this December, while back in Europe, Austria is in the process of liberalising its own gambling ecosystem.
“We are very much looking into the market potential, looking into where we have a footprint and an understanding of the market,” Groes told SBC News.
“These are markets that are so important and potentially big that we will invest in getting to know those markets.
“Right now we are looking into what we understand and where we want to grow, and markets where we want to be an actor, and looking at how we can become that – whether by scaling and growing, or acquisition.”
