SBC: What elements of SBC Summit Rio work so well for your organisation, and why is it important for you to be there this year?
Fellipe Fraga, (Chief Business Officer at EstrelaBet): SBC Summits are always an opportunity to show our company to the iGaming world, with meetings, interactions, encounters. As traditional already, the networking promoted by SBC enhances EstrelaBet brand and ambitions.
SBC: What’s your key objective at this year’s event and what are the main products/services you’ll be promoting?
FF: First, it’s home! Having SBC Rio is the best way to receive our partners and all industry here in Brazil. Also, is important not only to improve our relationships but get knowledge on what is being built for Brazil and Latam.
SBC: What would you highlight as the biggest opportunity in the betting and gaming industry over the next couple of years?
FF: Brazil itself. We’re already the biggest market in the world when we talk about number of accesses, and now as the Law 14790 is signed and the market is finally in regulation, our industry has the perfect opportunity to launch new products for a challengeable market.
SBC: What elements of your business do you feel are best placed to take advantage of that opportunity?
FF: Most of all, we understand this people. EstrelaBet breathes Brazil, it’s in our blood, and we can use it as an advantage. Is common to say in Brazil that “Brazilians are different”. Undoubtedly, to live this country and understand the correct approaches is a key advantage.
SBC: What areas of the business should we be looking to for innovation in the next 12 months?
FF: New tools of sportsbetting is already being developed and launched around the globe, and specially here is important to satisfy how fast must to be the customer experience: register, deposit, bet, win and withdraw. Sometimes, the gap between bet and win is too long, and with innovations that help this experience can be a huge step for 2024.
SBC: What new technology do you feel will have the biggest impact for stakeholders?
FF: I believe in two main verticals that can change everything: first is fast-bets on sportsbook, giving a kind of casino experience. Second is multiverse gadgets, like AppleVision.
SBC: What core challenges do you help solve for your customers/partners?
FF: The trust and confidence is the most important key in an emerging market like ours. So for the clients is important to look to EstrelaBet and see a entertainment platform able to let them shine, having fun and spending time playing responsibly.
SBC: Who have you especially enjoyed working with over the past year (partner/client) and why?
FF: That’s a difficult question to answer! Most of our partners are being very good especially last year with many changes we had in our development. In many verticals, from platform to games, from KYC to sponsorerd clubs, all of them deserve be recognized and we’re thankful.
SBC: Can you tell us more specifically how you worked with that partner and how the relationship is developing?
FF: In general terms, we used to work with a lot of dialogue and similar goals. Parner success is our success. So we manage to have a good relationship with them, looking deeply into what we share and trying to increase our numbers daily.
SBC: What are you hoping to learn from the conference at SBC Summit Rio and which elements of the agenda will you be focusing on the most?
FF: Is always a good opportunity for learning, because the experts are on the stage talking with their experience and knowledge. Trends, legal issues, marketing insights… everything is important to sit and learn.
