TGP Europe white label partners including SBOTOP and DEBET close sites

The whole portfolio of betting sites maintaining white label agreements with Isle of Man-based TGP Europe appears to have called a close to UK operations.

All 15 operators which appear on the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) website in a list of TGP Europe white label partner domain names have put up a notice.

Of these 15 sites, 13 stated that they would no longer be accepting new or existing customers from Thursday 8 May 2025 onwards. These included some notable sportsbooks, such as SBOTOP, the parent group of which is another Isle of Man-based firm, Celton Manx.

Bill Mummery, CEO of Celton Manx, confirmed to SBC News via email that the company had surrendered its Isle of Man licence on Friday 9 May. It is not yet clear why Celton Manx opted to do this.

An Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission (IOM GSC) statement read: “The Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC) is aware that with effect Friday 9 May 2025, Celton Manx has formally surrendered its licence.

“Celton Manx held a licence with the GSC under the Online Gambling Regulation Act since 2008. A licence holder may surrender their licence for various reasons and the GSC is unable to discuss individual circumstances in this regard.”

Some of the brands which maintained white label deals with TGP Europe – a company based in Douglas, Isle of Man, and founded in 2014 – are notable as being partners of Premier League football clubs.

For example, SBOTOP is the front-of-shirt sponsor of Premier League club Fulham, and its status as a TGP Europe-affiliated partner of an English top-flight club is not alone.

Vietnam-facing DEBET is a partner of Wolverhampton Wanderers, and some Wolves fans took note on social media that their club’s main partner appeared to be shutting down.

AFC Bournemouth are also partnered with TGP Europe white label partner bj88. Some former TGP white label partners which either were or still are Premier League partners include Kaiyun Sports with Nottingham Forest (active deal) and Crystal Palace (inactive) and BC Game and Leicester City (active).

Last year, after Kaiyun’s white label deal with TGP Europe expired, both Forest and Palace were warned by the UKGC about the potential regulatory implications of maintaining a commercial deal with a betting firm not active in the UK.

TGP Europe has also previously been subject to UKGC enforcement action. The firm was issued a £316,250 penalty and had additional terms attached to its licence in 2023 due to social responsibility and AML failures.

All in all, the 15 TGP Europe-partnered firms to have closed down websites this week are 12bet, 96uk, bj88, DEBET, DuelBits, Fun88, Nova88Bet, Sportsbetio.uk, SBOTOP, Ticbet and UK-WL.

SBC has reached out to the UKGC, Isle of Man GSC, Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers and TGP Europe for comment on this development.

Update – the UKGC website has now been updated showing that TGP Europe surrendered its casino, gambling software, general betting standard/real event and general betting standard/virtual event licences on Thursday 15 May 2025.
