Lotto Hessen goes virtual for football

sportradar-virtualfootballdealBetradar has announced that German lottery operator Lotterie-Treuhandgesellschaft mbH Hessen (Lotto Hessen) will deploy the company’s Virtual Football solution in its betting offer.

Lotto Hessen follows as the first state lottery to use Betradar’s Virtual Football solution, which has established itself since its launch in 2011 thanks to the way it powerfully combines the latest in artificial intelligence and 3D animation. Featuring a robust continuous league system, Betradar’s Virtual Football solution has been successfully integrated with the systems of tens of operators around the globe and reached countless loyal customers worldwide.

In total, Betradar serves over 30 state lotteries on four continents with its extensive product and service portfolio. “Due to the ever increasing competition from the private sector, State Lotteries need to be innovative and introduce new services to attract new customer groups and especially younger players. Betradar’s impressive suite of entertaining and profitable gaming products perfectly fit our portfolio and future plans. In order to raise our service to a whole new level we decided to turn to market leader Betradar”, says Dr. Sundermann, CEO of Lotto Hessen.

The regional lottery operator Lotto Hessen is a member of the German Lotto and Toto block and offers a wide range of lottery, sports betting and instant games in the German market. Lotto Hessen employs over 180 employees at its headquarters in Wiesbaden. They are responsible for sales, customer relationship management and quality management for all retail outlets as well as for the logistical and technical processes. Almost 1.6 million gaming orders per week are processed under the highest security measures. They arrive from a network of more than 2,000 retail outlets and are seamlessly integrated into the headquarters’ data center. The company achieved a turnover of 587.3 million euros in 2013.

Joni Hovi, Director State Lottery Business, from Sportradar, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Lotto Hessen as a new partner of Betradar’s Virtual Football solution.
