SBC Summit 2026 rolls out structured networking, powered by SBC Connect

SBC Summit rolls out structured networking programme.

SBC Summit is giving delegates greater control over who they meet in Lisbon, with a new structured networking programme, powered by SBC Connect, that lets attendees pre-arrange meetings, get curated introductions and join market-specific conversations before they even arrive.

Taking place at Feira Internacional de Lisboa and the MEO Arena from 29 September to 1 October, SBC Summit will bring together more than 40,000 professionals from across the global betting and gaming industry.

To help delegates navigate an event of this scale, the Summit’s networking programme will feature five structured daytime formats: SBC Connect Meets, Speed Networking, Regulatory Gaming Meetups, Show Floor Tours and Smart Connect. These will be complemented by a programme of evening events designed to allow conversations to continue in a more relaxed environment.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said: “With more than 40,000 people in one place, the real challenge is helping delegates make the best use of their time.

“We’ve built the networking programme around different needs. Some attendees want meetings lined up before they arrive, while others want introductions to unfamiliar sectors or a quicker way to expand their network.”

At the centre of the networking programme is SBC Connect Meets, which allows attendees to begin networking before they arrive in Lisbon.

Through the SBC Connect app, Networking, Business and VIP Pass holders will be able to browse the attendee list, message fellow delegates and arrange one-to-one meetings in the SBC Connect Lounge (CR1). The programme allows attendees to arrive in Lisbon with a fully-formed meeting list, rather than relying on chance networking throughout the event.

For delegates who don’t have days to spare building a network from scratch,  four themed Speed Networking sessions, covering first-time attendees, AI implementation, payments, and a session for future leaders in the industry. The format is designed so delegates meet a wide range of relevant contacts in under an hour.

For attendees looking to better understand the regulatory nuances of individual markets, Regulatory Gaming Meetups will offer 21 dedicated sessions to connect with regulators, legal experts and industry professionals working across those jurisdictions.

Each session will be led by a specialist in the relevant regulatory landscape, giving delegates an opportunity to discuss market entry, licensing, compliance and policy developments while building relationships with the professionals shaping those jurisdictions.

For delegates looking to navigate the SBC Summit show floor in a focused and strategic fashion, Show Floor Tours will provide guided introductions to relevant exhibitors and technologies across the Summit’s 130,000 square metres of exhibition space.

Led by the SBC team, the eight tours will focus on themes including AI in gaming, casino games, platform and aggregation technology, sportsbook solutions, marketing technology, CRM and fintech and compliance.

Meanwhile, Smart Connect will offer a more targeted matchmaking experience for both operators and suppliers. The programme will match representatives from senior operators with a limited number of suppliers based on their business objectives, target markets and product requirements. Each participant will arrive with a personalised schedule of pre-qualified 15-minute meetings, already confirmed.

Networking opportunities will not be limited to the show floor, with several evening events giving delegates the chance to continue conversations in a more relaxed setting. On Tuesday, 29 September, the SBC Summit Opening Party will bring delegates together at Pavilhão Carlos Lopes for an evening of complimentary drinks, entertainment and laid-back networking.

SBC Summit will conclude on Thursday, 1 October with the INFINITY Lisbon at the MEO Arena. Headlined by world-famous DJ Tiësto, the closing party will combine festival-scale production and live music with a final opportunity for attendees to strengthen the connections developed throughout the week.

Delegates can download the SBC Connect app on both Apple and Android. Once installed, they can book directly onto networking sessions using the app.

Only Networking, Business and VIP Pass holders will have access to SBC Summit’s structured networking options. You can browse the full range of options here.
