BetVictor continues to expand its brand profile with World Snooker, confirming that it has secured the title sponsorship to two further ‘Home Nations’ events – the Northern Ireland Open and Scottish Open.
The Gibraltar bookmaker expands its existing relationship with World Snooker following the success of its sponsorship of the English Open.
The BetVictor Northern Ireland Open will run from November 12 to 18 at the Belfast Waterfront Hall, followed by the BetVictor Scottish Open at the Glasgow Emirates Arena from December 10 to 16.
Confirming the new sponsorships, BetVictor Director of Sportsbook Matt Scarrott said: “We’re excited to be expanding our partnership with World Snooker and to be able to tap into the growing global snooker fanbase.”
“We were able to reach millions of spectators around the world as part of our sponsorship of the BetVictor English Open, and when the opportunity came to expand our partnership it was a no-brainer” added Scarrott.
Both tournaments will be broadcast on Eurosport’s channels, with additional coverage on Quest TV.
The tournaments’ will feature 128 pro players competing for a prize of £70,000, with World Snooker’s biggest names; Ronnie O’Sullivan, Mark Selby, Judd Trump, John Higgins on show.
