Ladbrokes Coral restructures senior legal executive team

Lindsay Beardsell

FTSE-listed Ladbrokes Coral Group Plc has restructured its executive legal team, which will now be led by Lindsay Beardsell who joined the company as Group General Counsel last January.

The company has informed that long-term Gala Coral General Counsel and Company Secretary Harry Willits has left the company, choosing not be part of the enlarged operators executive management team.

Ladbrokes Coral confirmed that Annabel Tagoe-Bannerman, legal lead and General Counsel for Ladbrokes legacy operations, will remain with the company for a ‘short period’ helping Beardsell with the group’s transition.

The legal restructure sees Lindsay Beardsell takeover combined group legal strategy and planning. Beardsell joined the company from UK highstreet fashion retailer SuperGroup Plc, where she served as Legal Counsel (2013-2016).

Beardsell joins the operator as the company continues its group synergy strategy seeking to gain £60-70 million in combined short-term savings.
