BETBY has debuted its first fully in-house made e-sim X-Battle Bats just in time for the start of the cricket season.
The launch, which is the first title in the BETBY Unity Games lineup, is an automated cricket simulation.
BETBY states that the product, which delivers coverage and player engagement across both real sports and esports simulations, is a key addition to the company’s expanding cricket portfolio.
Head of Sportsbook Product at BETBY, Kirill Nekrasov, commented: “We are proud to introduce X-Battle Bats as the first product in the BETBY Unity Games lineup.
“This launch represents another step in our mission to continuously expand and refine our esports and virtual sports offering, ensuring operators have engaging, high-quality products tailored to their audiences.”
X-Battle Bats puts two AI-controlled batsmen against each other in an ‘intense, strategic duel’.
The Malta-based firm explained that the simulation requires no human input, as it is powered entirely by advanced AI decision-making and realistic ball physics. Each match consists of 10 turns per batsman, with points awarded based on shot placement.
The move meets the surge in demand surrounding the Indian Premier League (IPL), which begins again this weekend (22 March).
“X-Battle Bats, a fresh, dynamic content that resonates with bettors worldwide, further solidifies our position as a pioneer in AI-driven sports simulations,” Nekrasov continued.
Meanwhile in terms of customisation, the e-sim allows operators to tailor their own banners, players and tournaments.
BETBY said that it seeks to ‘craft bespoke solutions to meet regional demands’, with a focus on India where cricket is by far the most widely followed sport.
The company’s upgrade of its cricket product comes amid a wider enhancement of its multi-sport and cross-sector offering.
Notably, last week the firm also introduced a custom-made Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) league for CSGOEmpire.
Integrated into its esports content portfolio BETBY Games, the newly launched exclusive league now looks to fully replicate the lifecycle of a real CS2 match.
