Smarkets has partnered with PandaScore to gain access to the provider’s esports betting products.
The betting exchange aims to ‘take its esports betting experience to the next level’, and will integrate PandaScore’s ‘powerful’ odds feed to offer hundreds of pre-match markets across thousands of events.
This covers major titles such as League of Legends, Dota2 and Counter Strike, and the contract will also include PandaScore’s range of player markets, bet builder and microbetting products.
Dasha Kirilishina, Senior Sales Manager at PandaScore, stated: “It’s great to see Smarkets getting serious about esports betting, using our vast range of esports betting products to provide the engaging, authentic experience that fans of esports have come to expect when betting on their favourite game titles and tournaments.
“The esports betting market is big and it’s only getting bigger. Forward thinking operators such as Smarkets can use our solutions and products to engage players now and to form a deep, genuine connection that leads to long-term loyalty before their rivals get in on the action.
“This is a great partnership for us, adding yet another big name from the world of sports to our impressive roster of customers.”
Meanwhile, the operator has opted to roll out PandaScore’s innovative Bet Builder tool, allowing players to curate their own bet for added engagement.
Smarkets’ punters can also experience PandaScore’s Micro Betting product, which the company has lauded as a ‘great tool to increase engagement’ whilst betting.
“Esports betting requires a different approach to standard sports betting, and in PandaScore we have a partner that lives and breathes esports,” added Ryan Caruana, Head of Technical Compliance at Smarkets.
“Its data and odds feed are the best in the business, and its suite of betting tools is in a class of its own.
“This partnership allows us to offer esports in an authentic, meaningful way, and we look forward to engaging new bettors while also providing significant added value to those that are already wagering with Smarkets.”
