PressEnter Group has announced the appointment of Hampus Eriksson as Deputy CEO of the operator of multi-brand igaming brands.
As announced to media “the internal promotion will see Eriksson continue in his existing position as Chief Product Officer (CPO) of PressEnter”, where Eriksson has led a 2-year project “rebuilding the company’s product capabilities and processes from the ground up.”
Key accomplishments saw Eriksson lead the launch of XLBet, PressEnter’s first sports betting brand which is active in the regulated markets of Romania and Ontario, Canada.
Further milestones include investing heavily in technical enablers to drive the business and completing a full cloud migration.
PressEnter Group went through a management buyout back in November 2022. This resulted in a change of strategy and the laying down of foundations that would ensure the long-term success of the business.
Lahcene Merzoug, CEO of PressEnter Group, said: “Hampus has achieved great things since joining PressEnter Group and this promotion is a reward for his hard work. This will also allow me more time to focus on strategy and long-term projects.”

As Deputy CEO, Eriksson will now have a wider remit, taking on the responsibility for the operations required to deliver these strategies and goals, and ensuring they are fully executed throughout 2024 and beyond.
