EvenBet upgrades social features for enhanced engagement

EvenBet Gaming has announced a series of new interactive features on its poker platform. 

The igaming developer and supplier has stated that the three upgrades – video chat, throwable objects and bomb pots – are designed to make the overall experience more ‘fun, entertaining and sociable’.

The upgrades will also enhance communication and interaction among players, emulating the offline poker game experience for the digital environment.

Dmitry Starostenkov, EvenBet Gaming CEO, commented: “We are very excited to release these fun and engaging features within our platform.

“We are continuously looking at ways to bring elements of the offline poker experience into the online world, and now players have the opportunity to express their emotions and engage with opponents in real-time with these upgrades.”

In detail, the company’s video chat functionality will now see users interact with each other in real-time at specific tables, excluding tournaments, and enables both camera and microphone capabilities.

Secondly, individuals can also now throw objects at the opposition – choosing from 10 virtual animated objects – as the supplier aims to provide a ‘funnier alternative’ to the classic emoji along with the animated emoji reactions which were introduced last year.

Finally, the Bomb Pot feature will randomly appear within a session and all players in the game are obliged to pay an ante, which will then enable a bigger sum to the winner of the hand. 

EvenBet’s enhanced social features will look to deliver a positive impact on engagement, retention and an operator’s bottom-line, while delivering benefits across several KPIs.

Speaking to SBC News in April, Starostenkov spoke of the common mistakes that operators are making, leading to inferior offerings and non-profitable launches within the Latin American market.
