AffPapa has confirmed Levon Nikoghosyan as its new CEO, with the igaming affiliate platform seeking to strengthen its standing in the wider industry.
In his new leadership remit, Nikoghosyan will hold responsibility for setting and achieving AffPapa’s strategic developments, and play a role in developing an ‘innovative’ company culture.
This also includes an objective of accelerating the firm’s growth rate following an active year, leveraging Nikoghosyan’s experience with a range of igaming companies and ‘broad network’ of contacts.
Nikoghosyan remarked: “Being one of the early investors of AffPapa project and believing in the demand of such service in our industry, I’m very proud and excited to take the leading role in this company, especially when it functions in the field of my expertise.
“We have tremendous plans for 2023 and I’m sure that with such a great team we will overperform our toughest goals.”
Before being named AffPapa CEO, Nikoghosyan joined the company’s Board of Directors in September of this year, but had been affiliated with the firm for some time prior.
One of his most prominent roles throughout his career in betting and gaming was as CEO of PartnerMatrix, the affiliate brand of B2B services firm EveryMatrix.
In this capacity he oversaw the signing of a partnership with AffPapa in August 2020, initiating a period of collaboration between the two firms focused on user engagement, content reach and development of a ‘trustworthy business environment’.
Commenting at the time, he said: “AffPapa is a newer and very promising platform that has already united hundreds of affiliates and operators. To be represented on such platforms means building new connections and reaching a more targeted audience.”
As a long-standing veteran of Armenia’s extensive igaming industry, Nikoghosyan has offered expert comment on trends in the country to SBC.
Last month he discussed Armenien market developments with SBC News alongside two other veterans of the national gambling space, describing the sector as ‘highly developed’.
He joins AffPapa as the company looks to capitalise on and identify new opportunities for growth, having scheduled its second igaming Club event in London on 8 February.
