Fortuna Entertainment has been crowned Polish Bookmaker of the Year for 2021, chosen by the expert panel of Polish sports betting community LegalniBukmacherzy.pl.
The gala event organised by iGamingNuts and held for a fourth time in Warsaw, was hosted by sports journalist, Jerzy Mielewski, with representatives of nominated bookmakers and Polish sports figures.
The ceremony saw Fortuna named as Bookmaker of the Year 2021, in addition to winning the further prizes of Responsible Bookmaker and best market offerings for tennis, skiing and combat sports.
Konrad Komarczuk, Chief Executive of Fortuna Poland, stated: “2021 was full of challenges for Fortuna. First of all there was a big football event – Euro 2020, that required very good preparation in terms of marketing and product. Additionally, we had to deal with the changing bookmaking market, growing competition and we had to respond to the needs of new customer groups – especially the younger generation.
“We managed to meet these challenges, and such decisions as introducing extremely simple bonuses or signing a sponsorship agreement with the celebrity fighting federation High League allowed us to stand out from the competition, therefore I am very pleased that our efforts have been awarded the title of the Bookmaker of the Year.”
Poland’s Annual Bookmakers’ Awards were established in 2017 by affiliate publisher iGamingNuts, to recognise the activities of licensed bookmakers within Poland’s newly re-regulated marketplace.
Following its initial success the awards have grown from 6 to 15 categories. 2022’s edition saw Superbet gain The best marketing campaign, best mobile app, and Users’ award titles, the last of which was awarded by internet voting.

Further accolades were awarded to eWinner for best speedway offer, LV Bet for best customer service and TotalBet having the best odds. Winning two awards each was Betcris with bookmaker debut of the year and the best esport offer and STS with the best football offer and the best live bets.
Among the 12 main nominee bookmakers, seven of these won statuettes, whilst the event was attended by sports personalities such as Taekwondo and MMA competitor, Łukasz Jurkowski, World Champion esports WTCC / WTCR, Jakub Brzeziński and former athlete and VP of PZLA, Sebastian Chmara.
IGamingNuts CEO, Adam Bieliński, concluded: “The bar is set higher and higher from year to year, because the market is still developing and the competition is huge. I am glad that we can organise this event, provide the highest quality and set trends.”
