Bolstering its social responsibility commitments Argyll Entertainment flagship subsidiary SportNation.bet will allow its players to make ‘charitable donations’ utilising reward points earned through the bookmaker’s revamped customer loyalty scheme.
Detailing its initiative as an ‘industry-first’ SportNation.bet informs that customers will be able to convert reward points into cash donations to charities such as Prostate Cancer UK, the Injured Jockeys Fund, KickItOut and The Oddballs Foundation.
Updating the media, Argyll details that the charity scheme has been developed as part of the company moving away from industry standards and developing its customer loyalty programme in-house.
Launched during Q1 trading, Argyll developed a tailored rewards programme for its portfolio of sportsbook allowing for ‘more loyalty points to be made available for wagers placed on traditionally higher-margin products.’
Craig van Flute, Argyll Entertainment Marketing Director said: “We’re incredibly grateful to those generous customers who have chosen to share their rewards points with a long list of great causes.
“As a business we’re proud to support charities like these carrying out great work and after careful consultation with both staff and customers it made sense to develop our technology to facilitate those who want to give back as part of their betting and gaming activity.”
.SportNation.bet have selected the charities based on suggestions made by their staff as well as selecting those close to the heart of customers.
A spokesperson for testicular cancer Oddsballs said: “The OddBalls Foundation is delighted to be named as one of SportNation.bet’s chosen charities for this new initiative.
“We really appreciate the support of their team and customers; their valuable donations will help us to continue to raise awareness of Testicular Cancer across the country. A huge thank you to all involved.”
