Betfred has advanced its US market ambitions by appointing Bryan Bennett as the bookmaker’s first US Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Bennett, a seasoned executive in US gaming, sports and digital enterprise strategies, confirmed via LinkedIn that he had joined the UK betting outfit, leading its initial US market drive.
Bennett is the former VP of Marketing for RocketPlay a developer of social games, acquired by New York-listed American Gaming Systems (AGS interactive) in 2015 in which the executive would serve as VP of AGS Interactive division (2016-2019).
“I’ll be leading Betfred’s expansion into the US retail and online sports betting market, and I cannot wait to get started working with Mark Stebbings, Stephen Crystal, Basil Hofer, Lou Damico, Andrew McLauchlan, and the entire Betfred team to tackle this huge opportunity.” Bennett detailed via LinkedIn.
This July, Betfred announced its first US partnership, acting as the lead wagering services provider for Elite Casino Resorts ‘Grand Falls’ Larchwood Iowa property.
