Partouche makes power play with BetConstruct

French heritage casino, leisure and entertainment group Partouche  has returned to the online gambling scene by launching its new digital property in partnership with BetConstruct.

Hosting a press conference this week in its resort of La Grande-Motte (province of Languedoc-Roussillon), where operations will be based, Partouche governance showcased its latest brand to media.

Partouche, synonymous with operating luxury casinos across France and North Africa, has struggled to crack the online gambling space.

In 2008, the group launched the ‘Partouche-Betting domain within the French and UK online gambling markets – a costly venture which failed to gain traction with punters, forcing Partouche to cease its digital operations.

Seeking to rewrite past wrongs, Partouche has attributed significant funds and resources seeking to develop into a leading French betting market proposition.

Working in partnership with BetConstruct as lead sportsbook technology provider, the domain has been under development for over a year.

BetConstruct details that the new French bookmaker will launch with full access to over 30,000 live markets per month, combined with a further 40,000 pre-match markets and 140 sports types.

Furthermore, Partouche has made a number of marketing investments to build’s brand presence to the French public ahead of its launch.

This summer, the new bookmaker announced that it had become new sponsor of its home football club Montpellier Hérault Sport Club.

In addition, this week Partouche announced a stable of French sporting figureheads, who will act as brand ambassadors, including footballers Jean Pierre Papin and Djibril Cisse, rugby union international Vincent Clerc and tennis player and pundit Michaël Llodra.
