Playtech confirms Susan Ball governance departure

Issuing a short statement, FTSE250 gambling technology group Playtech Plc has informed that Susan Ball has chosen to step down as a company Non-Executive Director and member of the board.

Updating stakeholders, Playtech governance confirms that Ball will officially leave her role at the end of the month, with the executive seeking to ‘pursue new business opportunities’.

Ball has served as Playtech Non-Executive director since August 2018, sitting on the FTSE technology group’s Audit, Risk, Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

Alan Jackson, Playtech Plc Chairman, said: “On behalf of everyone at the Company I would like to thank Susan for her valuable contribution to the Board. We wish her every success in her future roles.”

An industry figurehead, Ball is the former Chief Financial Officer of Unibet Plc (legacy Kindred Group), and long-term board member of Stockholm-listed Kambi Group Plc.

Restructuring its frameworks during the course of 2018, Playtech would confirm the appointment of Ball as a Non-Executive Director, advising the FTSE technology group on corporate financing and expansion strategies.
