London-listed gambling operator The Rank Group Plc (Rank) continues the restructuring of its senior executive management team, confirming the appointment of industry communications expert David Williams as new Director of Public Affairs.
Williams the former long-term Media & PR Director of Ladbrokes UK (2004-2017) joins Rank Group leadership, from newly formed racecourse pool-betting operator, Britbet, where he formerly served as Director of Communications.
As new public affairs director, Williams will be tasked with leading communications and external media relationships for Rank UK brands, as the company continues to undertake its group transformation programme.

Updating investors, John O’Reilly, Rank’s Chief Executive backed the appointment of David Williams, detailing that the company had recruited the industry’s best media communications director for a crucial transition period.
