Updating the market, industry affiliate Gambling.com Group has informed that former Cherry AB Chief Executive Fredrik Burvall has joined its board of governance as the company undertakes an aggressive M&A led future growth strategy.
A seasoned industry executive, Burvall has held a number of executive positions at Cherry AB, guiding the company through a series of successful growth initiatives.
Burvall oversaw major acquisitions such as performance marketing company Game Lounge in 2015 and Nordic-focused online operator ComeOn in 2016. Gambling.com informs that Burvall’s appointment was effective on December 1st.

Having stepped down as CEO of Cherry Group in January 2017, Burvall is now active on the boards of two Stockholm listed companies: AspireGlobal plc and myTaste AB as well as privately held Enteractive Malta Ltd.
