Leicester Tigers launches mobile app powered by LeoVegas

Aviva Premiership Rugby Club Leicester Tigers has launched its new mobile app, powered by official betting partner LeoVegas.

The app aims to be the best information portal for Leicester Tigers fans, and will include exclusive club content, videos and ‘matchday live’ features such as pre and post-game analysis.

LeoVegas further informs that the app has been built utilising Opta rugby statistics and game commentary.

Ahead of the start of the Aviva Premiership, LeoVegas and Leicester Tigers have launched its #TigerHunt campaign which encourages ‘supporters to share their photos in Tigers colours’, by uploading and sharing their photos with Tigers. They can also share pictures on Welford Road matchdays to be used on the big screens and there is also a hidden feature within the app for fans to discover!

Chris Rose, Head of Brand at Leicester Tigers, said: “We had great feedback on the new website and so we’re eager to see what fans will think of the Tigers app.

“With such a huge following around the globe, it’s important that we can reach all our fans and with the app’s smart and immersive platform we hope fans will enjoy its features for seasons to come.

“A big thank you to LeoVegas.com whose support has been unprecedented in updating the app. We’re encouraging fans to get involved as much as possible by sharing their photos of themselves with friends and family on matchday, so we can’t wait to see the response when we kick off the season on September 3.”

Last January, LeoVegas marketing announced that it had secured a 2 season deal with Leicester Tiger becoming the rugby club’s official betting partner. As a key sponsor LeoVegas detailed that it would participate in engaging with Tigers fans on rugby and social initiative

Jon Sinclair, head of UK & Ireland at LeoVegas.com, said: “We’re a recognised leader in mobile gaming apps so we’re thrilled to see the Tigers launch their app and we hope the fans enjoy its features. Tigers have such a passionate and global fanbase, so it’s great to be able to interact and engage with them on a whole new level.”
