Golan Shaked confirms exit as bwin.party Director of Games

shakedGolan Shaked Group Director of Games for bwin.party Entertainment confirmed last week to industry news source EGR Magazine that he will depart the operator as soon as it completes its acquisition by GVC Holdings.

EGR Magazine reports that Shaked was offered to retain his senior executive role within the new merged enterprise, however the long term serving group director has decided to leave the industry.

Shaked who has served bwin.party as a product lead since March 2010, will continue to advise bwin.party and its new owner GVC in a consultancy basis as the firms looks to build co-synergies ahead of its 2016 corporate integration.

Head of Finance for bwin.party games Tom Waters is set to act as interim Director of Games, as the merged operator’s governance looks to identify a replacement for Shaked.

GVC Holdings expects to finalise its full acquisition of bwin.party Entertainment assets by 2 February.
