Ladbrokes has announced that they will give users of Mirror Fantasy iTeam the chance to go head-to-head in the ‘Ladbrokes Free Bets League’ with £12,600 in prizes across the season. Users of the app, which is free for download, must join the league via mobile to compete for the prizes.
With its brand ambassador Chris Kamara taking the hot seat as the league’s chairman, Ladbrokes have set the grand prize as a £1,000 free bet. However, the best weekly and monthly managers can also claim prizes throughout the year, with 38 x £200 weekly prizes and 10 x £400 monthly prizes available.
Ladbrokes will be heavily promoting the game throughout its shops up and down the country, with the help of in-shop displays and leaflets distributed by staff. The app itself features updated leaderboards, real-time transfers, interactive news-feeds, as well as instant scores and squad news.
The announcement comes at a time where Sky Sports are advertising the season of #MINDGAMES for its own Fantasy Football game, with adverts featuring Jeff Stelling, Paul Merson and Charlie Nicholas.
