Strengthening its position as a US sports publisher, industry affiliate marketing network Gambling.com Group (Gambling.com) informs that it has become the first sports betting syndicated member of the Executive Committee of the ‘Associated Press Sports Editors – APSE’.

Following a committee vote, the affiliate marketing group’s flagship Gambling.com and bookmaker review portal bookies.com have been confirmed as APSE members, passing APSE evaluations on editorial standards, fairness and reporting of breaking news.

Founded in 1974, APSE is a professional organisation representing US sports journalism, which promotes the highest standards of accurate reporting and ethics by its members.

APSE members include – the Chicago Tribune, Yahoo Sports, USA Today, ESPN.com, Bleacher Report and The St Petersburg Times.

A pleased Charles Gillespie, Chief Executive of Gambling.com Group Plc, detailed  “We are very pleased to become the newest members of the Associated Press Sports Editors. Approval of our application is recognition of both the important work our journalists do and of the tremendous momentum behind the new regulated sports betting market in America.”
