Logifuture has gone live with Kenyan bookmaker Odibets and plans to follow this up with launches in Tanzania and Ghana.
The Malta-headquartered B2B iGaming supplier is behind 24/7, virtual football and tennis feed Zoom Sports, which it plans to bring to Odibets’ player base.
Zoom Sports is a dual-format platform, with one option being full 90-minute matches and the other a 10-minute ‘Turbo mode’, for those wanting faster action.
Over two million matches are delivered each year, and this was a key driver in the firm wanting to bring its product to Kenyan bettors.
“Our players expect action whenever they log in, not just when a match happens to be on,” said Benedict Murithi, Country Marketing Manager at Odibets.
“With Zoom Sports, our sportsbook stays live around the clock – the same depth and intensity as live football and tennis, any hour of the day. It’s already changing how our players engage outside peak hours.”
Africa remains a big part of Logifuture’s plans
For Logifuture, the move follows activity in Kenya earlier this year when it brought its Zoom Sports product to another popular Kenya-focused operator in Betika.
The company has worked closely with a variety of African operators, particularly Bet9ja in Nigeria, which had a huge presence at the latest Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) due to its partnership with the Nigerian Football Association.
It is not just Africa that is a focus for Logifuture though, as it has also ramped up activity in continents such as South America and Europe in the past few years.
Niccolo Cassettari, Chief Business Development Officer at Logifuture, has described this latest partnership as one that is “built to scale”.
“Kenyan players don’t stop wanting to bet just because the last match of the day has kicked off. Zoom Sports keeps Odibets’ sportsbook live 24/7, with the same market depth players expect from real fixtures,” he explained.
“This is a partnership built to scale – Tanzania and Ghana are next.”
