Flows welcomes Daniel de Souza as Commercial VP

Flows has expanded its commercial team with the appointment of Daniel de Souza as Vice President of Commercial.

De Souza joins Flows from Optimove, where he was Global Director Of Partnerships, bringing experience in “driving commercial success, enhancing customer portfolios, and strengthening relationships with numerous operators and platforms”.

Flows noted that De Souza’s prior operator background “gives him a unique advantage in understanding customer needs and identifying practical use cases, which will be pivotal in enhancing Flows’ usability going forward”.

Commenting on his new role, De Souza said: “I’ve had an incredible few years with Optimove, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to work with such a fantastic company. However, with the industry rapidly evolving—driven by advancements in AI, increased automation, and major global opportunities as new territories open up—the timing felt right for a new challenge.

“Flows will revolutionise the way businesses automate and manage their operations, and I look forward to joining the most talked-about startup in the industry, and having the chance to showcase the product’s potential for both new and established operators, was an opportunity I couldn’t resist.”

Flows also spotlighted De Souza’s knowledge in operations, scaling brands, entering new markets, leveraging data-driven insights and spearheading large-scale digital transformations, noting that this experience will help the platform “meet the evolving demands” of its clients.

James King, CEO at Flows, added: “Dan is a fantastic addition to the team. His experience, industry knowledge and vast network is exactly what we’ve needed to hypercharge our commercial efforts.

“I’m really excited to see the impact Dan will have with us, having witnessed his many successes in previous roles he’s held. Look out for Dan at SBC Lisbon and for the many great news pieces and client signing announcements to follow his start with Flows.”
