Flutter opens global tech hub in Hyderabad

Flutter Entertainment Plc has opened its new ‘Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad, India, to enhance tech and IT support for its global gambling portfolio.

Located at RMZ Spire in Knowledge City, this office represents a $3.5 million investment, establishing a new hub of innovation and excellence in Hyderabad.

The office covers 80,000 sq. ft across three floors and will employ over 700 people in data engineering, game integrity services, procurement, IT security, and customer support.

The Capability Centre will drive key IT projects for Flutter Edge, focusing on developing and unifying systems and solutions for brands like Paddy Power, Sisal, Sky Betting & Gaming, PokerStars, Sportsbet, and Betfair.

Ashish Sinha, Managing Director of Flutter Entertainment India, said, “We’re excited to expand our facility in Hyderabad as we strengthen our presence in India. We’re committed to growing with a challenger mindset, leading the sector globally, and seizing the significant opportunities India offers.”

This expansion supports Flutter’s global vision of Changing the Game by constantly improving product and technology across iGaming and sports betting brands.”

Flutter also ensured the new office in Hyderabad meets the quality controls and sustainability standards of its Positive Impact Plan. Additionally, the company donated £30,000 to local initiatives in Hyderabad, making a meaningful impact in the communities where Flutter unit’s live, work and play.
