Kambi secures Swedish renewal with ATG

Kambi Group Plc has renewed its multi-channel sportsbook supplier agreement with AB Trav och Galopp (ATG), Sweden’s horse racing and trotting monopoly.

The Stockholm-listed technology group will continue to provide ATG with its comprehensive end-to-end sportsbook solution, inclusive of AI-powered trading systems.

This Swedish partnership, active since 2018, has allowed Kambi to deliver customised trading solutions for ATG’s retail network of nearly 1,500 outlets and its online sportsbook offerings.

Hans Lord Skarplöth, ATG CEO, expressed: “Kambi’s premium sportsbook technology has played a crucial role in our growth and success. We are enthusiastic about continuing this productive partnership as we endeavor to offer exciting sports betting experiences to our customers.”

This extension follows the Swedish Inspectorate Spelinspektionen approving Kambi’s B2B gambling permits, ensuring the tech group can persist in providing betting technology and services to licensed operators in Sweden, compliant with the Gambling Act of 2018.

ATG marks the seventh partnership renewal Kambi has inked this year, having recently secured extensions for its complete product with key partners such as Corredor Empresarial, LeoVegas, Paf, Rank Group, Rush Street Interactive, and Sun International.

Kambi CEO, Kristian Nylén, shared: “Our strategy has consistently been to empower market leaders, or those demonstrating potential for market leadership. In ATG, we have a valued partner who has achieved precisely that since launching with Kambi in 2019.

“A sportsbook that offers flexibility for operators to differentiate is vital in such a fiercely competitive market, and this partnership epitomizes our ability to deliver enduring value to our network of partners, fortifying our stance as the industry’s premier sports betting supplier.”
