Alessandro Graziosi – Snaitech

Snaitech, is set to introduce exciting new changes to their platform during the course of 2023, as disclosed to SBC by Alessandro Graziosi, Digital Director of Snaitech, who shared first-hand details on the upcoming innovations that the Italian giant is working on.

Graziosi has led plans to revamp their website using a “data lake” approach and artificial intelligence to create a customized offer based on the preferences of each individual player, with a completely renewed front-end and user experience.

The new website will be fully responsive and cross-device, with innovative features and a brand new look and feel that fulfil accessibility requirements.

Snaitech is targeting a launch date around the beginning of the 2023-2024 Italian Serie A Championship in
August 2023. Additionally, the company will launch a new customer-dedicated program with attractive
gamification tools aimed at increasing customer loyalty.

The Sport app will also be redesigned and adapted, and a new app will be launched to cover the casino world with a more appealing approach. Snaitech is focused on consolidating growth in both casino and betting while maintaining and consolidating their strong position in sports.

Graziosi emphasized the company’s core goal of providing players with a cutting- edge, increasingly modern, complete, and immersive gaming experience.

Snaitech’s position in the market has been consistently strong, with significant growth in retail and online revenues over the past few years. The company went from a market share in online betting of 12.1% in 2019 to 14.5% in 2021, moving up from third to first place overall.

They also moved up from fourth to third place in gaming market share, going from 6.4% in 2019 to 8.4% in 2021. Graziosi attributed Snaitech’s success to strong brand awareness, a large and loyal customer base, cross-selling and omnichannel activity, focus on vertical products, and stimulating betting consumers to try games products, especially casino.

The landscape of Italian betting is constantly evolving, with the pandemic having a significant impact on consumer habits. Online gaming is on the rise, presenting significant growth opportunities.

Snaitech has a balanced presence in both the retail and online sectors, leveraging online acquisitions and retail, thanks to its cross-selling approach. Virtual is an important vertical product that the company is focusing on, with growth at both the retail and online levels.

Finally, Graziosi discussed the introduction of a new Italian betting decree (No. 145 of August 1°, 2022) which allows Italian operators to align themselves with the international market and fight against illegal gaming.

The decree introduces new features such as cash out, Asian handicap, draw no bet, and changes to minimum stakes and maximum winnings values.

Graziosi stated that the whole sector has been waiting for this decree as it revolutionizes the consumer experience, allowing the industry to be more competitive and enabling Snaitech to improve the customer experience both in retail and online, sectors that are becoming more and more intertwined according to Snaitech’s omnichannel project.
