Betfred renews legacy VS partnership with Inspired Entertainment

Betfred has announced that it will continue to work with Inspired Entertainment as its principal supplier of virtual sports (VS) games/content for its retail unit.

The Manchester-based betting group announced that it has renewed terms with Inspired that has supplied its full range of VS games to Betfred’s 1,400 UK betting shops for the past 15-years.

Inspired’s Virtual Sports have a global player base, on offer in more than 32,000 retail channels and over 100 websites in 35 countries.

Betfred shops will continue to be supplied by Inspired HD virtual sports titles covering football, tennis, horse and greyhound racing and further new sports titles.

Betfred Group COO Mark Stebbings said: “Inspired has been a trusted key supplier, and their virtuals have proven to be very popular with our customers in our retail venues.

“We have been impressed with their continued innovation in virtuals and we are excited that our customers will continue to enjoy Inspired’s best-in-class content.”

Inspired Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Steve Rogers deemed the partnership critical to the company’s success and growth in the UK.

Rogers said – “Inspired and Betfred have a proven and successful partnership. Betfred was one of the first retail operators to add multiple concurrent channels of content in the UK LBO sector, and have seen how successful this strategy has been in attracting players both pre and post the Covid-19 lockdown periods,”

“We are thrilled to be extending our longstanding relationship, which is a testament to the strength of our Virtual offerings.”
