Sportradar has strengthened its corporate governance team by confirming the appointment of Chuck Robel as Chairman of the Audit Committee for the Board of Directors.
Robel, the current Chairman of GoDaddy, is recognised as one of big tech’s leading corporate stewards having served as a board member and audit chair for McAfee, Informatica, Palo Alto Networks, Borland, Adaptec, Jive Software and Model N.
An expert in corporate financing for multinational technology firms, Robel is the former General Partner and COO of San Francisco venture capital fund Hummer Winblad VP, a VC which has led 214 enterprise investments and 51 successful exits.
Prior to his career in venture capital, Robel served as the managing partner of PWC Software Services group in Silicon Valley overseeing Technology Mergers and Acquisitions group.

In his role, Robel will lead oversight of Sportradar’s financial reporting and planning related to internal controls, risks, ethics and compliance.
In addition, Robel will serve as a key advisor to Sportradar’s executive leadership team providing guidance on the firm’s enterprise strategy for its ongoing global expansion projects.
