Lottoland gets Lucky with appointment of Multani as COO

Online global lottery broker Lottoland has announced the appointment of Lucky Multani as its new Chief Operating Officer.

This is the second senior appointment made by Lottoland in recent weeks, following the recruitment of Glen Bullen as VP of the company’s new B2B division – Lottoland Solutions.

Multani an igaming veteran with over 16 years’ experience in igaming operations joins Lottoland’s Gibraltar operations from 888 where he served in a number of senior management roles overseeing risk management and regulatory operations.

Lottoland governance detailed that Multani’s primary responsibility will cover the fraud, payments, legal and compliance aspects of Lottoland’s business and its operational performance. As COO he will also be involved with the development of the technology strategy

Commenting on his appointment Multani said: “Lottoland has achieved a great deal in a short space of time and opened up a new category of online gaming through an innovative approach to betting on lotteries. It has a great future ahead and I am really looking forward to helping to ensure that it remains at the top of this new fast-moving and exciting online gaming category.”

Nigel Birrell, CEO at Lottoland commented: “Lucky’s vast experience and understanding of online gaming regulation will prove invaluable as we continue to quickly develop Lottoland, which is already the established market-leader in its field with 2 million registered customers in its first two years of operation.”
