BCLC launches OpenBet Promote system

starlightSports betting platform provider Openbet has partnered with BCLC (British Columbia Lottery Corporation) to deploy its next generation Promote system in the casino environment.

Promote has been integrated to a gigantic 12-screen display to create a cinematic-style experience at the venue in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. The new screen will completely change the customer experience within the venue and provide a best in class promotional system designed to enhance enjoyment and engagement.

BCLC’s PlayNow Sportsbook (powered by OpenBet) first launched in 2012 on PlayNow.com and offers players more than 500 betting options, including futures, props and betting on live games while they’re in play.

“Our latest deployment of Promote, with BCLC at the Starlight property, means customers can now experience the most dynamic sportsbook experience delivered on one of the largest video walls installed within British Columbia,” said Jeremy Thompson-Hill, OpenBet CEO. “It demonstrates OpenBet’s commitment to a true omni-channel gaming experience that today’s player demands, and which delivers optimum value to operators.”

In conjunction with BCLC and Gateway Casinos, OpenBet Promote has developed a tailored, high-definition betting content display that will revolutionise the Starlight Casino sports bar experience. Promote Studio centrally manages the live video feeds, TV, audio, data feeds, HTML, RSS, and social media to deliver a live picture experience across multiple sports and games with real-time price, screen and content changes.

“This is a brand new and innovative way to engage our players in an interactive and fun atmosphere where they can enjoy all the amenities of a sports lounge, along with the excitement of live sports action betting,” said BCLC Vice President eGaming Rhonda Garvey. “Offering Sportsbook in the casino gives our players a best in class gaming experience.”
