Pitch ICE profiles – Part 3 – Gamevy, My Poker Pal and Bet Trade

Presented by GamCrowd.com and Clarion Events, Pitch ICE is a new free-to-attend event at ICE Totally Gaming this year. Taking place at Stand N7-460, it is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas in front of attendees and potential investors at ICE 2015.

The final line-up of 20 start-ups will each have a 15 minute slot to sell their business or concept on the show floor. A wide variety of companies will be present, incorporating social gaming, online casino, online poker and more. In the run up to ICE, SBC News is running brief profiles on each of the entrants.

7. GAMEVY

Pitching: Tuesday 12.10pm, Wednesday 10.50am

Gamevy’s new mobile app BornLucky Gameshows gives every player the chance to be the star of their very own gameshow. The company is looking to capitalise on the UK’s love for the TV format – The Million Pound Drop app has been downloaded three million times – by offering players the opportunity to use a combination of luck and skill as they try to take home the jackpot prize. The product launches on the App Store in the next few weeks and aims to bring the excitement of the nation’s favourite game shows to a gambling audience.

 

8. MYPOKERPAL

Pitching: Tuesday 12.30pm, Wednesday 11.10am

My Poker Pal is a hub for poker players to provide each other with support, information and a sense of community. Data accrued from the company’s members will help filter players through to online games and sites that suit them. My Poker Pal helps the player by awarding them pre-loaded money to play online, and it helps the poker sites by providing a lower cost per acquisition (CPA) with less player promiscuity. The end result is happier players and lower CPA for poker sites.

 

9. BET TRADE

Pitching: Tuesday 12.50pm, Wednesday 11.30am

Bet Trade, an online casino platform, aims to transform the industry by offering multiplayer games with live trading. Players don’t battle the house – they compete directly against each other, and at least one winner is guaranteed every time. This takes away the risk element for the casino and places the players in control by providing them the option to cash out, double down or adjust their bets before a winner is announced.
