Finnplay launches new operator FantasyBet

Eirik Bjørklund – CEO of FantasyBet

Tailored digital gaming solutions Finnplay, today announced the launch of daily fantasy sports operator FantasyBet using Finnplay’s BillFold platform to run their fantasy gaming engine.
FantasyBet is targeting the high growth in live fantasy sports games across Europe in time for the new English Premiership football season. A combination of innovative daily fantasy sports features such as ‘Flash Mode’, which gives fantasy managers only three minutes to set-up and submit teams, will add further to the social gaming and in-play entertainment elements of the game for players.

Martin Prantner, CEO of Finnplay said: “We are delighted to be working with FantasyBet. Season long fantasy football has been popular for a number of years, but short-term fantasy sports and social gaming products that typically last for one match are growing in popularity globally. With us, FantasyBet was connected to a modular platform and our API connection technology was a key element in making the integration work smoothly. This is a good example of the versatility of our BillFold platform.”

Eirik Bjørklund, CEO of FantasyBet, commented: “Our daily live games will offer Fantasy Football managers a different and exciting way to test their selection skills in an innovative social environment. Features such as Random Squad lists give each manager a limited selection of players, to really put their skill and knowledge about the English Premier League to the test.”
