Sportradar reaches ISO bar

Sportradar‘s  Security Services have been officially certified ISO 9001. The Security Services support sports and law enforcement stakeholders worldwide as they seek to preserve the integrity of sporting competitions via two pillars: the Fraud Detection System which is dedicated to monitoring global betting behaviour and detecting betting-related match-fixing; and the Fraud Prevention Services which provide education programmes, products and consultancy in order to combat the spread of match-fixing.

The certification audit was undertaken by TÜV Thuringia at the Sportradar offices in London and found that the Quality Management System of Sportradar’s Security Services met all ISO international standards. The ISO 9001 certification is the world’s most popular and most important standard in Quality Management and a strong indicator of systems and processes that clients can trust.

“In recent years, we have seen sporting integrity and match-fixing climb the agenda of key sports organisations and law enforcement agencies,” said Andreas Krannich, Sportradar’s Managing Director Strategy and Integrity. “With that attention, we have seen an increase in the amount of organisations claiming to monitor suspicious betting behaviour and declaring that they have uncovered betting-related match-fixing.”
