Last week saw the first ever Mobile Gaming & Gambling Summit held at the 1 America Square – Tower Hill on the 11th of September. With smartphone and tablet gambling due to reach $100 bn by 2017, and mobile fast overtaking desktop for new acquisition, the Mobile Gaming & Gambling Summit aimed to showcase the best in mobile gaming and offer delegates insight into the burgeoning fast paced Mobile Gaming sector.
The summit covered the latest topics in the sports betting and gaming sectors, looking at mobile’s role in customer acquisition and retention. A strong focus was also centered around the convergence between technology platforms, payment process and interaction between mobile and social. Furthermore the summit hosted sessions on Mobile marketing and mobile campaign optimization.
The Mobile Gaming & Gambling Summit hosted by Dot Media and Mobile Marketing Magazine, lined up a Stellar cast of headline speakers, covering all aspects of the mobile gaming value chain. Speakers included – Emma Crowe VP of Somo, Dara Nasr Head of Sales at Twitter, Paul McNea CEO of Betfuze, and many more expert speakers. SBC managed covered this event with its live blogging team making frantic notes of all the knowlege nuggets gathered at the summit.
