iGaming games and lottery supplier Nektan have acquired London based sports betting and mobile application makers Mfuse Mobile for an undisclosed fee. The acquisition of Mfuse had been studied for a period of four months, it will see all 50 Mfuse employees including senior management remain in place at the firm’s London headquarters.
Nektan suppliers of igaming products to operators such as William Hill, Norsk Tipping and Scientific Games, completed the acquisition of Mfuse Mobile this week having received further investment capital of £5 million in their latest funding round. Nektan had been investigating operational growth through acquisition in new technology services. Nektan commented that it had identified Mfuse as an “ideal fit” to aid its expansion.

After losing a number of key mobile clients, Mfuse announced a reduction in staff. Mfuse chief executive Geoff Read noted that sports betting operators that there is “a shift by the industry to bring mobile sports betting services in-house”. Geoff Read commented on the acquisition of Mfuse by Nektan “We are all excited by this! With our combined expertise we will also be working on a new range of innovative product variants that I will look forward to announcing at a later date,”
