Igaming specialist news source eGR magazine announced its 2013 IGaming Innovation Awards winners, during a lunchtime ceremony held at the Tower of London Pavilion, hosted by UK comedian Tony Hawks. eGR IGaming Innovation Awards set to recognise the igaming industries leaders and market makers in terms of new product and innovation in key areas of the igaming value chain. This years awards were highly competitive given new industry advancements in mobile and social gaming platforms.

Irish igaming operator Paddy Power was the belle of the ball, winning seven of the seventeen igaming innovation categories. Paddy Power took home awards for ‘Innovation in Mobile & Tablet’, ‘Innovation in live sports betting’ and ‘Innovation in CRM marketing’. Jamie Reeve who served as project manager for Paddy Powers app’s development program was named Innovator of the Year. The decision to award Paddy Power such recognition reflects the companies growing focus on mobile gaming which saw mobile betting revenues rising by 112% in the first quarter of 2013. Furthermore Paddy Power won best innovation in affiliate marketing and ‘Innovative Gaming Start-Up’ for BetDash, its social gaming sports predictor launched in 2012.

The awards ceremony also saw William Hill win two awards in categories for live dealer casino and mobile marketing. Other highlights included social gaming operator Plumbee winning Innovation in Social Casino for Mirrorball Slots. Below is the full list of winners for the 2013 ‘eGR IGaming Innovation Awards’
